Cool! will there be a conversion for the BR5? Looks like most of the parts are the same.
Now THE question......... When and how much? |
Looks like the xb9 cloned to the max

I love this. if it is not a big name then it is a clone this clone that. that is what takes the fun away from this hobby. why not just be quiet if ya ain't got something to say besides negative comments or post them elsewhere. guys I looks nice and I can tell there are alot of improvements overt the br 5 and it can see it will only help the buggy handle and run better. |
i have the xb9.
This car is diferent. Not near to a xb9. on the other hand, there is not so many ways to build/create a new car. And the way to adjust/put settups in 1/8 can not differs so much... |
The car looks promising! We recieve ours next week, so we will have more information!
From what I know, it is slimmer, lighter. Of course battery forward, different gearing, shock caps are new, lower COG on center diff. :D |

No flex technology. |
For the xray lovers, gen 1 serpent tray came first, then the hong nor serpent style, then the xray version of it and now intech does it and they copied xray?
|
Does anybody know what tires are on the buggy thanks
|
Was wondering the same thing. Thought they were duratrax shotguns but those are 4pin per lug.
|
Nice looking buggy btw.

they are avialible here, http://newgenerationdistribution.com...BR-BB1-S-A.htm I do use the red AKA insert in the tires which allow for better performance. How long they will last you is all depending on how hard you are on the trigger. Check them out. Ya won't be sorry. http://newgenerationdistribution.com...BR-BB1-S-A.htm BTW Russ when you guys get done testing Hunters I would like to talk to you about it. I need to get mine updated. |
looks nice

Everyone I will say this about the INTECH. I had lost intrest in running buggy and was running only truggy and short course. After seeing the BR 5 and tring a couple out I decided it was time to put my hat back into the buggy run. I was never much of a driver just out to have fun. At the dialed race in Shreveport I bumped into the B and was actually on the way to win the B until I got tangled in traffic which was my fault. Before I was a bottom B mid C finisher in buggy class. Working with Russ and Hunter and the advice they pass along and help they offer I have actually enjoyed driving buggy again. Between New Generations and INTECH I truely hope this is a buggy that can knock the big names off the podium. I know of 1 driver that pilots 1 that can do it...
AIN'T THAT RIGHT "CUPCAKE" !!!!!!:sneaky::lol: |

These tires have done real well for me when I use them. ACTUALLY on a hard pack track with a good blue groove I will use a older set to run. These tires are to INTECH what the CITYBLOCK and CALIBER are to AKA and PROLINE.

Sorry bud, these tires are not Intech's. OFNA puts these tires on every 80% race roller. They are the same EXACT things as the ofna's. They also, in my opinion, do not last very long at all. Super hard and are not really meant for racing...
:D Back to the buggy please, like we said before looking forward to getting it here. Thanks |
I'm getting stoked about the new version INTECH has to send us. I know Russ and Hunter has worked close with them as well. It seems INTECH is WILLING to listen to input from drivers of the buggy. I really believe if people just try the buggy they will like it.
As importers Russ and Hunter know the buggy inside out. And if you have an issue you have 2 great sources of info to draw from to ask questions to. |
where can I buy one?

Thanks Bobby,
Our pre-production BR6 has shipped, look for the build soon. The production units should be ready to ship very soon! :sneaky: |
I really like the way it looks and I'm not a buggy owner currently but when I finally decide to enter the buggy world definitely have to consider this

BR6
Hunter and I just got back from the track, and the new buggy is really Good!
A lot more steering, better geometry, fuel economy! The chassis is longer than the STD br5, but the engine was move back for more on power traction, and with the new radio tray made the steering much better! MORE TO COME! |

Well Hunter finally got to go to Mikes outdoor track, the track was loose and dusty.
Intially the buggy still had too much turn in for him, so we went to 5K in the rear from 3, dropped the rear to to 2.75, and front toe from 1 in to .5 in. It was much better for him, ran a more few tanks. During charging of the battery, we dropped the anti squat to 1 degree, and moved the front shock out on the arms and to middle lower hole on tower. Now the buggy had good turn and progressive though the corner to exit. Still running 10 degree hubs in front, still really good on power steering. :D |

how is the gearing changed ?
is it 43/11 now instead of 43/13 or is the teething just more helical but same ratio ?? |

Which motor was he running and how is the take off and top end with the regearing of the buggy Russ? I can't wait to see it in person.
We used the Fusion X3 lightning. The new gearing is 43/10 in diffs and 42/16 Center and clutch bell the Br5 had 40/12 straight cut and 46/13. The BR6 drive train is so free , spins so easy.... |

Actually the take off is better due to the helical cut gearing, and the topend is faster.
