Don't worry about ceramic bearings. Avid revolutions are fine. I check my bearings every time I clean and service the car. If they are gritty I replace whatever bearings are gritty. That goes for any bearing on the car.

As far as shimming. Two shims in the rear and one shim in the front, both tightening up the mesh. Done right, you shouldn't have any issues.

If you have chewed up a gear, replace the crown and pinion on the end that is chewed up no matter how good either of them look. If one is damaged, they both are.

Hello. Anyone know exactly how wide the bottom of the Agama truggy body is? I ask cos' I'm thinking of retrofitting one onto my truggy chassis, which is approx. 8 to 8.25 inches wide (203 mm's), with the chassis guards in place. Please advise if you know. Thanks.

It is the narrowest nitro truggy out there. Body measures about 7-7.25".

2 months worth of inactivity on this thread? Are there so few people running this truck or is there maybe something new coming out?

Ok, good to know... I'm wanting to run the same platform for each class and I'm really happy with the A215.

Do you still need to buy the usa internal gears for the diffs, new shock caps with convex bladders, extended engine mounts and the updated brake kit? I know that is what was recommended to me when I had my A8T. Thinking about getting one for next year.
