Several TQ's.....
but the set up i posted was more for a "General Set Up"
the stock set up is Excelent....
the second one i posted was probally one
95% of "Average" drivers can take drop on the track and be a little "Closer"
to what most might encounter for a "American Track"
with the T8......
for example maybe some loose dirt or "Dusty" but the base is "Hard Packed"
where there is say a "Medium Traction" where the tire plays a bigger part.
then could take this same set up and say the track went "High Traction"
or even Blue Groove...
you would just raise the front and center diff oils to say 7K keep 2 in rear
and raise front camber links and you'll be 90% in the ball-park for that type of given track.....may not even have to change shock oils.....

but i would say start with the Box set up....if feels good leave it..
if maybe trying to have it more "Neutral"
for say more common American tracks
then try the second one i posted may help .....

well i like to thank everyone on the responces...!!!
wow kinda nice to see the Team C Line getting a little bit of notice..!!!
now i been getting a ton of emails on set ups ...???
but setups are a bit tricky to really lay out...???
many asked about the set ups i have posted...
but these are a little leaning on tracks i have come across from Northern California, to San Diego and 2 in Arizona and Nevada....
some of the tracks further "East" i noticed not as "Dry" some with really nice Tacky traction..!!!! hard to explain...???
so for the start try out the Kit set up...it's a good place to start....
many have asked what was my Starting set up...???
well many Buggies r/c cars in General are basicly pretty close....
some simple guide lines for some general Handling Ideas i can explain.
for example, this wont apply to all drivers since they have there "Opinions"
because of there "Particular Driving Styles" but this is "In General"
for example say the buggy is ok? but just seems get away suddenly in a corner? a slighlty heavier oil in the front will help....
for example say one had 30 in the rear you could run 35 in the front....
for most what you'll come to find is most of the people at a given track will run pretty close to the same oils in there cars....
keep in mind not all set ups will work for everyone....but some simple guide lines can help
the Manuals for the given kits are the best place to start...
follow those first...and some of the "Fast Guys" at your track can be a good place to start as well.....
another good place is the HUDY off road set up guide this one helps allot !!

another place to dial in a car are the Diffs, yes a pain in the Butt...LOL
but the rewards are worth it...
now some have the Fixation that you have to have a Supper heavy diff in the center....?????
not true....however if your one of those drivers that will "Stab the Throttle"
in the entire turn? then no matter if you use 50K in the center those tires are still going to go large..!!!
a smoother driver could run 3k in there center and have no problems of the front "Unloading"
it's a matter of "How you Drive" ....

5K and 7K for most tracks in the front diffs are a good place to start...
5K say will yeild a little more "Initial Steering" but depepnding on driver may feel "Inconsistant" or Twitchy.....
7K will feel better for some if your more
of a brake at last second style....will stay "Stable" under Braking"
and will get a tad more steering on "EXIT" while on Acceleration
play with the front diff oils in the front be suprised......
center diffs....well a whole section could be written on this...LOL
but in general...if you have track that is kinda "Smooth" a hard packed base
and good traction, a higher diff oil could be the ticket....a higher center will yeild more 4wd effect....but will "Buck" more in rough sections
myself most tracks i personaly run 5K front 5K center 2K rear for my base.
and depending on track conditions i go up or down from there...
so say i have a track that is smooth but traction is loose a little "Gravely" on top but the base is "Hard" i may try going 7K in front and keep the 5K in the center so, it stays stable in the front under braking
and my tires dont "Light uP" as soon as i touch the throttle....
again this is just for some guide line examples ....does not mean this is an Absolute but to try'em
i appreciate the emails but honestly it is hard to Guage what needs to be done for a driver..???
too many factors involved..??? such as
"How they Drive"
how they Anticipate a track condition?,
the track conditions them selves,
where and how they apply throttle and Brake....
so the second post i put was kinda Guaged from 5 or 6 drivers at
"Each Track" that seemed pretty fast at the tracks i was visiting....
and they all would say the car felt pretty Neutral.....??

hope some of this can help and make a little sence...

so for this weekend if anyone is around Southern California come on up and talk to me, will be running "Truggy" at the Sidewinder Nitro Explosion
at ARC Raceway....

Yea our tracks here in the south east blue groove up nicely if the clay is good. And as far as set up, it can completely change due to the groove. There's a couple of us in the panhandle of florida and we'll post some set up soon for those of you in the east.
