Maybe a new kit late this year. Maybe not till the early next year. That should answer your question. LOL! No one really knows. Just speculation at best.

I wouldn't worry about a new kit right now. Just go race and enjoy yourself.

Doesn't cost anything to hope and dream what they will come up with. Maybe it'll be inspiration!!!

I didn't use Protek but I mounted mine in the back receiver box. Had to do it because my switch was broken last race, but somehow love it. More rear traction and the front won't dive so easily in the air now.

That battery is the same dimensions as the Reedy and the Reedy fits perfect in mine.

I don't think people understand what is involved in development and testing. Then getting things into production and having parts and every thing else that goes with it. It's not as cut and dry as some seem to think.

I've learned a fair bit about it over the last 7-9 yrs.

It's only as hard as One makes it. AE has been around a very long time and that being said, they should have it down pat. I wonder sometime's if they just don't have the enthusiasm for 1/8 scale like they do 1/10 scale? Time will tell, but judging by the 8.2, they have ALLOT of work to do. Don't get me wrong CR, I'm a AE guy, but if they want to be a FACTOR in the 1/8 scale off road world, time to step up!!!!!
