That's not entirely correct... I stuffed it into a wall running parallel to me Took me out of the race though...

Hey... when is a good time to use taper pins on front and rear? and what about using evil twins,..... when are evil twins better than tapers? This is for a truck, of course

I don't mean to sound biased, but I have never seen a surface where Evil Twins were better than Taper Pins, and I've been to my fair share of racetracks.
Taper Pins on the front of your truck will smooth out steering, especially entering the corner. I use 8-ribs on tracks with more than a few 180's that require lots of steering, and taper pins on basically any other blue groove track, specifically high speed tracks with long, sweeping corners.

Ok, cool. Thank you. I just got a ton of new tires and have not really experimented with anything, soi i thought i should ask someone who knows what they are doing.
By the way, congrats on your last big win....

If you're racing modified on a very sticky blue groove track and you're traction rolling, then you might need a sway bar.
DerekL - Thanks
DerekL - Thanks

Hey Aaron, do you know if I should use a Sway bar or not on a XXX4 at Family hobbies? (Rough, Loamy, tight...) We use IFMAR Studs all around.

I wouldn't even try it.

Casper - The track he's running at his loamy step pin dirt that gets bumpy. To me, I'd think that a swaybar would hurt in that situation.
Can't hurt to try it.

Okay, thanks Aaron and Jon
Hopefully sometime soon I'll go out there and give it a run for it's money...
