I understand you dont need a regulator to prevent damaging the battery due to discharge, but do you need one if your servo's only handle 6.0v

peak voltage on hump packs is around 7.8, the life peak is 7.2, so any 6v rated servo is fine.

you might ask questions about the equivelant statement its all about the discharge rating as it is controlled by the grid and the way the grib is manufactured not like a car battery that is an uncontrolled current device .The grid is designed to limit the current flow on discharge to the servos demand not more this way giving you a longer run time .

I hope this information helps you .

please send us an email to [email protected] as we ship these batteries worldwide .
ahhhhh

good news on my 1700 intellect life pack. i got an email from rcmall to send it back but before i did i thought to drain the battery below 7.2v and see if it would charge. bada bing, charges fine now on life mode and peaked at 7.2v. i guess when i originally got the battery and charged it in lipo mode it pounded in some extra voltage somehow. i have it on discharge now to see how much mah is in there, so far 810mah at 6.4v, cutoff is at 4.0v. i had the pack out this weekend and it started glitching after 4 tanks, then only charged 200 or so mah at the track. that gave me the idea to try to drain the battery some then recharge in the correct mode.

He didn't when I ordered late last year. I sent him a PM, paid via PayPal, and received the battery in 10 days.

LMAO i agree it looks better than the Nimh.

well a 1350 Life equals 1950 Nimh, so more run time, Nimh dont seem to wrok good after few fast charges at the track where the life is made for this, it doesnt take much time to charge (15-30) minutes and sometimes less.
when you charge a Nimh battery and leave it for 2 days, you will notice the voltage will drop alot where in Life you can barely notice it. Life batteries are lighter than Nimh which is good for the overall performance of you car. less weight = faster car.

i guess people think i own the Life batteries factory since i talk alot about them i wish i do but NO i dont. i just like using them.

cheers
