It isn't a "must" have. But there are many positives to having the GEN III tray. Longer throttle/brake servo life, larger battery compartment where you can now use the foam underneath helping protect your lipo's, and better weight distribution.;)

Hehe, i was one of the track crew rebuilding Hotrod's track. It's---- interesting to say the least! It will reopen Tuesday at 1pm for racing Tuesday night. The long front straight goes into a sweeper and split's into 2 lanes at the end. Our truggies will barely fit into those lanes! That's an area to avoid when it's your turn to marshall!

Oh man that will be some fun! At least that will make my crash location close to the driver' stand LOL! Can't wait to check it out! Thanks for the update!

high voltage servos and receiver or use voltage regulator to bring the volt down to 6v. i have been using this for almost 2 years now without a glitch. only that one of the wire came off at the board. a quick solder fix and its good as new.

saw that. do i need a swith with it? or just un plug it.

The only reason you would really need anything special is if your servos are not high voltage and are not rated for 7.4v. Then you will just need a voltage regulator that drops the voltage down to 6v. Losi and others sell them, they are not expensive.

What clutch would you buy?

Hey guys,

I have both an 8ight and 8ight-T (both v2's) that I want to clean up and get back on track. I sometime back put all my clutches from both those models and others in a box and you guessed it! I have no clue where it is. (it was over a year ago) So I need some clutches for both. What would you all suggest I buy?

Thanks for the time and support,
Nick
