Hmmm. Weird. Searched for 15 minutes and didn't find ANYTHING. Integra had some pics of where the inclined spindles needed dremeled to get max steering. I don't see any of that info anywhere now.

Guess I've finally went to crazy land. LOL.

It will wear in after a couple tanks, but how tight is it now? You need to check with the case fully closed. Is there any backlash any where around the ring gear? Is it tight in just one spot or all the way around? Because basically a "high spot" is OK and will wear in. If it's tight and notchy all the way around you need to move a shim to loosen a little.

Make sure to recheck that mesh after 3-4 full tanks. And then once more several tanks later. After that the mesh should stay consistent.

vito 04-18-2012 04:56 PM

i took one out. sill tight but not bad. the shim i took out was on the right side.

Jake C6R 04-18-2012 05:30 PM

Personally I would go with the recommended number of stock shims and try moving them one at t time to the opposite side to loosen the mesh rather than removing one.

ok need a hand here. where do the 4 gold whaser go there not in the book? they came with the shock parts

rustyfingers 04-18-2012 06:58 PM

rear brake problem

Breaks work fine at the center diff. and stop the rear shaft from turning but I still have no brakes. The rear wheels turn freely even when the drive shaft is being held by the brakes. Changed our rear diff fluid to 2k. but still no luck.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Dennis
