Yeah all of mine except the front left are way up in the outdrives. The front left is barely even in it. I went through the whole front end yesterday and couldn't fix it. I'm wondering if it's a chance I got just one short one from the factory? I'm going to order two new ones this week and try them and see if they are longer and fix the issue or not. I'm assuming I just need the cv bones not the whole driveshafts with axle ends?

I'm still going to call Losi tomorrow and see if they will send me just one driveshaft to take care of the problem. They have gave me excellent customer service in the past so hopefully they will help me out this time.

Try swaping from the rear if its still short check your arms one night be longer than the other for what ever reason. Just a thought!

Bill @ CS is well aware of this issue, Let him know and he Should send out some parts. Same for You Choas.

Dont bother building and rebuilding the truck, The bones short and flip flopping wont do you much good.

My left drive shaft was short after a few runs. I just replaced it. No more problem.

I called Losi this morning and they said I had to send in the driveshaft before they would send a replacement.

I changed the left one with the right one and it was exactly the same problem. Was too short. I got to looking at the truck and noticed the camber link was screwed way out on the left side compared to right side. I fixed that and that put the driveshaft farther into the outdrive. I put both sides at about -2 degrees camber and the problem isn't nowhere near as bad. I still think I have the short driveshafts but right now I believe they won't pop out.

Yeah I just bought it on here. It's actually my old truck I sold on here lol. Didn't know it til I got it and one of the bodies I had painted. And then a part of the linkage I did I recognized.

Anyways I didn't put it on a setup station yet so I never noticed the link til today.

I think its fixed now. I will give it some track time soon on my track to be sure.

truggy100 10-25-2011 10:18 AM

hello

I run the truggy on high grip astro tracks
my problem I have grip roll what can I change to take the grip roll out

I rum most off the stock setup
only I have a bce chassis and run the short ackerman plate

thanks for any reply

Most astro racers cut the outside edge of the pins on the tires, that will reduce lateral grip when cornering. Also dial in a little more camber, depending on what you have on the car now.
