A while back, I saw a tool that presses out the 8ight CVD dogbone pins so you can replace worn ones. Anyone know who makes it or where I can get one? thanks

why do you think they went to alum spindles with stock plastic caster blocks? it gave you more throw, your doing the same here but without the weight of the alum

My E bug with all plastics turns Just as good as my Nitro's with the alum spindles, in fact sometimes better.....so i feel its not needed.

well i heard that the mc2 rear outer hub pins are good but from what i heard you have to drill a big hole for them to fit.

i use, the the 2.0 hubs and 2.0 outer pins but i did dremel off the 4 hole on the hub to make it just 3 holes so i can use the same camber link/hole on the hole.

why would you dremel off the "A" hole on hub ?

the black discs Dont wear like the older Fiber disc's used to and they Dont fade what so ever in the middle of a Long main, You can HAMMER on the black discs ALL you want and they will come back for more. As far as when they need to be replaced, I would say a 10-15 gallons and even then it depends on how much brakes YOU actually use, So its all driver/set-up dependent.

I think I read before that you guys were using a Mugen part to replace the Losi dog bone pins.Does anyone have the part number handy so I dont have to flip through a billion posts to find it?Thanks

youve been running these cars long enough, and helping enough people on here to know that :

You can only tell the difference between two things by running them back to back ON the same car.

Very True mike, i cant disagree with that....But having said that, I still feel the plastics give enough steering throw before thing's start touching and rubbing....My buggy steering links get cut in 1/2 right @ the threads from the wheels and need replacing every so often and the plastics don't do it near as bad....Good buddy who's vehicle's i maintain still has plastic on his buggy's (Identical set-ups) and he's never once asked me for more steering. Ive also driven his cars on many occasion's back to back with mine and again, No more steering needed.

So with the plastic being...plastic, I would much rather see guys buy the alum spindles and deal with the extra couple grams Vs modding the plastic as im sure some guys will go too far or grind till there's serious binding going on or Break during a Race which we all know Sucks big time.
