Save your pennies and buy somebody's used 2.0t. At the end of the season and over the winter many of them will be available since so many guys buy new ones for each season. Once a part causes a dnf it comes off unless there is no replacement. These inserts should say replace regularly. They do fail and when it happens to you it won't matter if you can replace the plastic inserts or that you can adjust the tow with ease. I have even had the alum cover on the new style come off. I'll stick with a solid piece of alum. :D

Ive pushed 2 pin's through in my 3+ years of running Losi, they were both quite some time ago(well before the upgraded adjustable were available) and I have Yet to upgrade my original's to the updated,...if you keep your hingepins clean and bind free, I dont foresee any pins coming out or bushing's being mangled.

Crash hard enough and Ya it'll take out the insert, but if your crashing like a monkey all over the place your gonna break stuff no matter what brand toe plate's your running,

I ran the Old M2C's with the big delrin ball when i first got into losi and found the balls to wear way too fast, Im sure its why Mitch changed up the way he does it Also to match the adjust ability of the losi units.
