Are you sure You didn't switch it with the center driveshaft?

Positive, I even switched left and right dog bones....

Could it be, that the diff gears are so worn out, giving the diff cups just enough slop that the dog bone can pop out?

Not likely.

i had the same issue with my front shafts popping out. not after big crashes just running around,, i tried everything threw all new parts on the front shafts bulkhead arms carriers bearings drive cups diff case crown and pinion and everything else on the front and still had the issue of the shafts coming out..my solution was i took a complete diff with out drives and crown gear from an xray xt8 put the loso bearings on and problem solved..the xray outdrives are a little longer . it works a treat and no more problems:nod:

What size is the losi flyheel? 32mm or 34mm?

bigjayjay1 09-01-2010 03:00 PM

you should be servicing your shocks like every two runs. the more you do it the more consistent your truck will feel. thanks for the tip on the kyosho boots

By servicing your shocks what do you mean:confused::confused:

Fresh oils and boots. Seals and bladders as needed.;)

MikeFriery 09-01-2010 04:45 PM

every 2 runs seems a bit excessive doug.. mine are 4 months old and i race 2-3 times a week

What are 4 months old? I wouldn't imagine boots and oils are. I don't necessarily do mine every two runs. More like before every big race or after 3-4 club races. I can see seals lasting 4 months, but not much else. Bladders won't last that long for me. Seals do though.

I agree with you Mike, if the racing conditions are really nasty, sillty dirt, maybe, the average club racer wouldn't know the difference.

by runs i mean club nights, sorry wrong choice of words. i have just done testing latley on fluids. my truck/buggy seem to perform better in bumps when the fluids are fresh. if i dont do them for like 2 months(racing once a week) then i seem to get tossed around in ruff sections.
