Could you explain why you would get more dirt through holes in the rim compared to in the tire? I am just curious.

Centrifugal force. Going through corners, sideways, dirt gets inside the wheels and ultimately finds it's way through the hole, to inside the tire. Holes in the tire will allow air to get into the tire, but any dirt ( and water, when you clean them) will be allowed to escape.

Well, picked up an 8T 2.0 on Thursday, put my electronics, motor, etc in it on Friday, and ran it at a Big charity race on Saturday box stock, didn't even change the tires till round 3 of qualifying. With only 2 tanks in it before qualifying started, I have to say I am impressed with the truggy. Runs really well. Not overlly impressed with the stock shock setup, even outside of the shock end coming off, but little playing around with the shock setup will fix that. I think Losi hit the nail on the head with this one.......as long as it is more durable in the diffs than the 1.0 was.........

Aight I'll pass on the reamer for now. What about the rear skid plates do you think they are needed?
