Also the a arms, front and rear shocks, shock towers, etc. If you chassis is worn to what you say it is the entire truck is probably worn too, from replacing the outdrives and cvds all around, the diff cups wearing notches, o rings needing to be replaced, clutch springs/shoes need to be replaced, the plastics starting to wear and maybe even warp, for the price it will be to get it in good condition you will save money by just getting the 2.0T. Now we told you the same thing when the $150 rebate was out, but you ignored us so looks like your gonna have to pay $600 for one.
im was planning on, just getting the 2.0 t chassis not converting the whole truck. |

THE TRUCK IS OUTDATED - 1.0 and 2.0 are totally different trucks. They handle totally different. They are wider, bigger and stronger. If you are a club racer then the 1.0 will be fine. But at a competition level, the 1.0 will not cut it. Hell one of the top guys in my class started the season with a 1.0 and he could not keep up. Sold that crap and got a 2.0 now hes back at the top of the class. Just suck it up and buy a 2.0 and be done with it. Unless the person driving the 1.0 is a world class driver, it wont cut it.
yea im just a club racer, i did race in a roar race i was kind of keeping up with the fast guys driving a 2.0 t but my engine was running like crap. but most of the time i race at a club level. |

LOL the truck isn't any wider. More room to pass??? LMAO.:lol: The arms are wider and the wheel offset is narrower. The truck is the same width. It is longer though.;) |
And it may be heavier, but it sure doesn't feel like it out on the track where it matters.;)
BTW this is the 8T 2.0 thread. We all have 2.0's and most of us had 1.0's. We KNOW the differences.;) |

Thought it was funny when in the Horizon Hobbies preview vid what the dude says about the 8T2.0 RTR "It took me three years to get my version one to handle as good as this does out of the box!!" And that was the RTR...

like i said next year i going to get a new truck anyways. tc5, I'd just run what you have for the rest of the year and get a 2.0 when you're ready. I've seen some REALLY worn out chassis' still run fine.;) |
