Thanks for all the input guys I think I might try a bit of lexan on this one and see how that goes.

sure is......i run my E on the bug chassis with Great success....overall better rough stuff handling and being 100g lighter then the stock plate is always a bonus....i run matrix tower's on my buggy's as well...custom 1 offs on truggy.
This is From A WHile ago but still the Truggy version

theres the way that chassis can handle a nitro buggy.

Whats the thickness for the CF tower for the buggy
#5244
i woulnt think theres much flex on a carbon chassis i would know from touring car racing.
#5246
thanks just suspect to possible breakage normal CF tower are 4mm Ive bent my fronts roller towers wonder if they can handle the abuse. I know Mugens come with CF tower and mugen guys keep them handy not sure if sacrificing the lightness for durability is a fair trade
#5247
what ?
A lot flexier then alum that's for sure.....nitro buggy would need a little weight Pending multiple thing's like tire's and lightweight drive parts....the alum front/rear axle's are less then 1/2 the weight of the stocker's and the boot on the rear's is pretty trick like the AE style rear boot cover's.
lol
yes 4mm here's a chart to show the weight's

i meant theres is no way that carbon chassis can hold up on a nitro buggy
and yea carbon fiber has no flex at all
