i run the jammin shock ends and spring retainers
you have to drill the hole out to 3.5mm so that they fit. i've been running the same set for over a year. i had them on my first truggy and moved them onto my 8T 2.0 when i got it |

New ride enroute!!
I ordered my 2.0 from Amain this weekend. Should be here Thursday:nod::nod: I've been reading this thread and see that I need to go over the truck and be sure all screws are tight, check my shock ends to be sure they are not stripped and change the servo saver spring to the 8T 1.0 one. I also ordered the Alumn servo saver top arm and the Alumn servo arm. Anything else I need to pay particular attention too?

Thanks Trevor! Do you have a link for the JDub? No, I won't be at DB on Tuesday nights. After Memorial Day, I will race @ DB on Sat's or RC-Outlaw (Collinsville IL) on Sundays.

thats about it bro....... I would get the Jdub modded rear hubs for sure. I would also replace the shock ends as the threads are gone, they wont last, so dont risk it. Get the longer camber link and wingstay screws as well. You going to dirtburners tomm. night? cya bro!
and btw... ill be testing this theory this weekend. i went to avids all the way around on my 8t2.0 because every pro ive talked to said the bearing issue is just the stock bearing because they have a bad batch and replacing them will fix everything. if they go out ill be sendin j dub some money..... if not then i guess im glad i waited and btw the people complaining about the losi box all you gotta do is replace the wire to bigger gauge. i had some integy motors go due to my dad mis treatin the box and the hobby shop wired it wrong. and for some reason my dad bought a second box cause he didnt wanna wait :weird: so now we have 2 but he had them rewire the box to bigger wire and weve broken 2 motors in last weekend and the motors are still good. |

You have to lock tight the screws in to the shaft. I thread the screw threw the piston, apply lock tight and then screw into the shock shaft. If you apply the lock tight before threading the screw threw the piston you take all the lock tight off the screw. Have not had a piston come loose since I started doing it this way. If you add shock fluid whilst the threadlock is still wet, the shock fluid will eat the threadlock. Leave overnight for the threadlock to fully harden before adding the shock fluid |

I wired mine direct solder to the contact points with Deans wet noodle, and it still wasn't good enough. |
