Wassup Mr. Stanton? How did the Cabin fever go for you? I was supposed to go but came down with Strep Throat the day before I was supposed to leave for the race

See you at Wenatchee?

The adjustable pin holders aren't nessicary. they are very nice and I run them on mine but not nessicary. The aluminum servo saver top is IMO nessicary. The bearing inserts are NOT nessicary on the 2.0 since you can just shim everything tight now.

Other nessicary things IMO are

Aluminum steering servo horn(I reccomend the losi one),
5-40x7/8" button head screws for the inner camber link screws,
5-40x5/8" cap head screws for the upper wing mount screws(upper screws that go through the tower towards the back of the truck),
1.0 truggy servo saver spring(2.0 spring works but has to be set very loose which can cause the nut to back off/not enough thread on the tube),
losi 2mm offset hubs only in the front(allow full steering without webbing in the wheels rubbing),
Modded rear hubs from J-DUB or the new KHZ hubs.

You can get away without those screws if you put loctight on the stock ones, but they are really too short. Same goes for the servo saver spring. You can use the 2.0 spring but you have to back it off pretty far for the servo saver to work. This can cause the nut to back off easily. you can use loctight to help keep it tight.

Hi guys I'm new to this forum.
Quick question guys, I was at my local track today, when my
Team Losi Servo Arm Insert stripped. I bought a new one, but the
tires still seem to lock on the side after a simple jump. I dont know what
else to buy or repair. I checked all the screws on my losi 8t 2.0
but everything seems ok. The mechanic said that the new servo arm
insert would solve the problem and but it did not. Thanks

My bet is that it is still slipping. the stock losi steering servo horns are complete garbage. I would pick up an aluminum arm, preferably the losi arm.

I am confused about the premise of shimming the axles? Doing so will remove some of the in/out play, I understand that. I just don't understand the intent beyond removing some play.

Thanks, I will try to pick up a losi aluminum arm soon. And maybe
better inserts.
