What can i do about my front brakes sticking on my 2.0 after applying them? I have tried loosening the pads and adjusting the linkage.

jwcobra, make sure that the brake disk slide fairly easily onto the outdrive. If it is tight when you apply the brake the disk will cock slightly. If it is sticking on the outdrive it will not release right away and cause the feeling you are getting. Also make sure you do not have to much of a gap in your calipers or this will cause it also. I think the manual says somewhere around .5 mm. I hope this helps

You may need to back off your front brake linkage some. With your radio tray set-up, how much throw to brake side does it take to engage. If it is very little, then that may be your problem other then the previous post.

Are you thinking it a little fat because it is bogging as you apply throttle??
BTW, a racer here had his GRP .21 temp at 403. We immediately richened the top 1 full turn, and then shut it down. Put the piston at bdc, then set the car near a fan to cool it off slowly. This weekend, the same motor ran great, and still had pinch. Either way, he just ordered new bearings.

no bogging, it just is cold at first for a few mintues to like 3/4 of tank then it starts to get hot and lots of power.

The GRP to me seems to lean bog a little easier then rich bog.

grp problem
+1 bigedmound. ran grp all this yer put 8 gallons on it. top is to lean and bottom is to lean. i would richen bottom like 3-4 hours and top same way. only lean top so that it clears out down the staight. use bottom end for tunning. start tuning from bottom and temps will drop. also run grp num4 plugs helps alot. jp3 or msr 1009 pipe make motor come alive and cool temps down

Hey Adam, i need a little help with tuning my motor, i get about 7 min of run time and the temp is up there a piece or two at 260, it has the 8mm restrictor in it and a mcCoy 8 plug in it, how do you tune the motor or what do i need to change to get 10 min of run time and get the temp down? Thanks

Any chance (sorry if this has been ask/answered, I'm not about to read the entire thread) of a 2.0 kit? Sorry (again :P ) if I'm perceived as being an @#$hole, but I won't even consider a roller. Thx
