5,5,3 is probably the best starting point still. Or try Tebo's neo11 setup - 4,5,2

7,5,3 = 7k,5k,3k = 7000,5000,3000 = front,centre,rear

Hi everyone, Just received my MP9 TKI2! this buggy is amazing, the build quality is outstanding. Can't wait to take it to the track. I have the TKI 3 batter tray parts on it's way. Also have a spare set of TKI2 driveshafts so I wont be ordering the HD ones for now.

For you guys running the PT shock oil, what are you using for the Losi 30wt the 350 or 375?

Also any of you guys running the Blue front springs and Orange rear with the 8 1.3 tapered pistons and PT oil 650 cst front 450 cst rear on outdoor tracks how do you like it?

Thanks

Hello my friend, this is what I have found that is comparable.

Losi 30 = Pt 375

On the second question I usually run orange springs front and rear. This really feels good in the bumps. I felt the car gets tossed around a bit more with the blues. I am going to try the blues up front again as the first time around I think I was to heavy on shock oils.

With the orange springs what weight oils are you running (assuming 8x1.3 pistons)? I like the weight transfer with the oranges a bit better that the lt. blues but I haven't given the lt. blues much in the way of testing yet.

Yes I am using the 1.3 8 hole pistons front and rear, white pistons. I am running losi 42.5 in the front and losi 30 in the rear. This feels really good. I used to run 45 in the front with the blue springs and this was just to stiff for me. In pt oils I would run 375 rear and 650-675 in the front with the orange springs.

Thanks! Next practice day I'm going to try the orange and lt. blue back to back. I am currently running Losi 40f and 32.5r. I'll probably bump the front up to 42.5 when I have the chance.

Just curious if anyone knows when the suspension weights and 16 degree hub is coming out? I would like to experiment with them but can not find where they are available yet?

375 in the rear not 450? Would seem soft i would think.. Have you tried 450? I was told 450 with orange in the rear but if you have used them and 375 is better i will throw it in.

It will depend on your track conditions. The track I run on most is out doors and gets kind of bumpy. When I tried 450 oil I felt the suspension was to firm and instead of absorbing the bump, the car would get thrown around. When I went to the lighter rear oil this allowed the shocks to absorb the bump and the car felt more calm. Then again you may like the heavier rear oils. Try both and see.
