I think if your talking about the Lower and high hole on the rear hubs. Going to the lower hole ,which would raise the hub gives you more rear traction. Wheelie time

But I have seen one brand that would work perfect, but I can't remember the brand. Could have been a german brand, the servo horn was anodized red and I think they only sell red, could perhaps be robitronic, still not sure though. But definitely works as one end is raised quite a bit so that end could be used for brakes and it wouldn't scrape.
Interesting....I have searched for an aluminum throttle servo horn for the MP9, but because of the "double-bend", I have had no luck....do you remember where you saw it?

For those who run with the battery in the front....I bought the WC forward battery mod kit. As you can see from my sig., the wife won't let me put it together until Christmas

My question is will any 5-cell hump pack work? I have a dynamite 1600 mah and an Orion 1900mah pack, with the Orion pack being thicker..which way does the battery mount? I can't seem to find a pic...

Did it not come with an instruction sheet and diagram showing exactly what you're asking? I guess not, obviously. I received a 2 page instruction sheet with my WC manual. I can scan it and give you a copy if you want.

No reason to waste your time looking for a alum servo horn for throttle, Just use the stock horn. I have been using the same horn for years...with no problems

Without posting a pic, it's hard to describe my question, but I'll try. My 2 battery packs are 1600 mah and 1900 mah. As expected, the 1900 mah is thicker when I lay it on it's side as compared to the 1600 mah. However, when I set them upright (with the 3 cells on the bottom, and 2 on the top) they are roughly the same size......so I guess what I am asking is which way does the battery mount? On it's side, or upright?

I concur and would have to agree. There isn't really all that much (if any) need for an alloy brake/throttle servo horn as there isn't anywhere near the forces or amount of torque going through it as compared with the steering servo's horn, definitely alloy there.

As all 4 wheels can be locked up quite easily using the plastic horn, any further application of torque/trying to move the servo horn further into it's travel is only going to cause damage to the servo gears and motor. Cody even won his WC title using the original Kyosho part and Tebo has won all his recent races and titles also with the stock plastic part.

Just out of curiosity, why did you want the alloy version, any specific reason or problem you're having?

The +2mm alloy hubs don't have a upper/lower hinge pin hole at the bottom, only the non-additional offset/alloy version of the plastic hubs, IFW410 has the upper/lower holes at the bottom, but surprisingly also has both rows of holes up the top as well.

I've got a foam pad on the Side Gaurd to help keep the battery up. I'm using a Nimh Hump Pack with the large side on the foam pad and the smaller side up against the Carbon Fiber. It sits exactly like it is shown in the picture.

I would highly doubt that they would release what I would consider a "new model" , there are always updates with any manufacturer.

The mp9 has pretty much been the same geometry throughout all "models" , the mp9 (se), tki1,tki2,tki2 wc, there have been very minor changes and nothing that cant be purchased seperately to make your car your own

So can you run the L position in the rear with the 91mm shafts without issues, or will they pop out on uptravel?
