We went to the HotShots race and the car performed excellent!!!!!
Do to only having maybe 2 hours of run time on the car since I received the kit,
started 7th in the D
finished 2nd
started last in the C
finished 2nd
started last in the B
finished 2nd
started last in the A
finished 7th
I made a couple adjustments and after 40 mins and 3 races I WORE OUT my
JConcepts Double Dee's
Due to NOT having another set of JConcepts tires
we had to run another type
Car was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We had a great time
Thanks to the Track Crew at HOTSHOTS (my dad helped a lil) track was awesome!

How is the SX8 geared? Conventional buggy (13/46 bell/spur) or the newer style truggy setup (larger clutch bell)?

Good job Trey..... in due time 
it only proves you had an A main car all weekend and just couldnt put a run together earlier. I'd say its a good thing to have a rig that will go a couple hours without a sweat........ never know when you'll need to

Dear Gents
I spent two days at the factory in china earlier this month and what can i say wow.
We discussed some small changes to the car which will be inplemented soon ,example angled engine mount bringing the engine slightly into the centre line but not disturbing the 50/50 weight ratio from front to rear and some other small things like brakes etc etc .everything is happening so dont worry.
The factory is also building state of the art off road track facilites and an on road track on site for testing .I will be there testing my tyre range and the buggy and truggy before the worlds in the US.
The truggy will also be a very big seller from what i saw and inspected with the engineering side of things .
70% of th parts from the buggy fit the truggy keeping both buggy and truggy in the same family .To be honest the truggy is an animal and very lightweight .
ill keep you informed again soon.

Here are a couple of setup sheets that I have put together, I have about 2 gallons on the car now. The first sheet (v1.0a) is a base setup that I have so far, and the second (v1.1a) is the next set of changes I'm going to make for the next test session.
