I got to put some good time on my buggy this weekend at both the Fear Farm and The Nitro Pit. I made a few changed from the box set up. I squared the diff running 5000 all the way around, and I changed the shock oils to mugen 550 front and 500 rear with the med springs up front and the soft springs in the rear. It felt alot better on landing from big jumps the rear was alot more settled and the whole buggy just felt more secure. I am gonna mess with the sway bars the next time I get out to run. The buggy is getting better and better with every change I make!!!

Went out to the Fear Farm again last night. My buggy again ran awesome!!!! I qualified 6th in a very competitive field of buggy's. By the end of the 12 min main I worked up to 3rd!!! I did make the sway bar change I went to the 2.3mm front and 2.6mm rear. I added about 2mm of preload to them and boy did it make a difference!! It made the buggy less comfortable to drive but it is noticeably faster, My fast lap went from a 25.2 with a top 5 of 25.6 to a 24.5 with a top 5 of 24.6.

The SX8 is made by Nanda. The SX8 EVO is made by Team C.
2 completley different cars!!

The Nanada based car was good in its day, but the new evo is a more up to date design.
I doubt many are still running the old car.

Actually, Team C is the house-brand for an OEM factory by the name of Hobby Pro Company in China, not Taiwan. Hobby Pro Co. is (not the same as Hobby Pro USA). They make parts and finished products for other companies, and they also private label for a few others.

TQ Racing used to be a private-labeled customer for HPC. Since their separation last year, the Team C brand has evolved with improvements to most models. However, the T8 parts and upgrades will fit your discontinued TQ SX8 EVO.

Team C now has it's own dealer-distribution center in the US, so parts and upgrades are plentiful.

Default TQ SX8

Ok im talking about just the plain old TQ SX8

not the EVO SX8 just plain old SX8

I have had (power racing products, nanda, rdlogics sho) and all these kit's shared alot of the same parts. just marketed under diffrent names..

I had no real luck with the above mentioned buggys (fragile diff gears) and weak drive shafts.

being the sx8 is manufactured by the same company im wondering if they got the diff gears and soft metal's used in the drivetrain straitened out?

what is there weak point? and is there still parts avalible?

thank you for the time and effort. jesse
