All i have to say about this is, What goes around comes around........I use to run for team ocm on the factory support level......big break there but hey everyone has to start somewhere....I left ocm after my contract was up and I reached out to a new sponsor to get help for the 2008 season and I was bad mouthed by alan burton saying i would not be a very good team represenative. So i contacted alan and he said he told them i did not send him race reports or post on the threads....Now not all of us but some of us have a life outside r/c racing and do not get paid to do this, therefore we need another source of income to pay for our hobby......Not to mention from May 2007 to January 2008, alan had 6 different email address to get ahold of him. Some worked some didn't.....I sent my race reports each month and I was on sgrid as much as i could. Everytime i went to a race I would do nothing but praise the OCM car. There are several, several people that anyone could contact and they would back me up.....So like i said, what goes around comes around...... Regards, Kyle Melvin

Kyle, I stand behind my call to this day. You did very little for our team and was not the type of person I needed. That is very evident with your last post. The guys who worked hard for me and stayed dedicated to this team for a full season had the actual chance to be a part of this. They seen my hard work and I was very aware of the dedication by them. That in my eyes are the only people who's opinion matter. That is the guys who will stand up for me and who I am looking out for. Kyle in the end I truly feel something much better will come of this for me and my family. I tried to do the best I could with the tools given. I have no hard feelings to you please do not have any towards me just because in my opinion you had very little to offer to our team. I also think it shows immaturity that you would think this type of issue has any real relation to me releasing you from our team(what goes around comes around).

So I guess you are correct Kyle Melvin

Take care man and just move on, I'm sure your sponsor don't like ya online stirring the pot anyways...

Man this thread is popular tonight. How are things outside the USA for OCM? Does their teams in other countries have the same issues that we have had here? Wild that a company would put all the time and effort into making a product and then crap on a new market. Not good business.

Alan, you didn't release me from you "team"....I signed a contract for 6 months and when it was up i was done, not to mention it took 4 months to get and it was only a 6 month deal with ocm and tq fuel, i may not have supported ocm in your eyes but like i said, people thought i did a damn good job....even when people were telling me the car didn't fit me. And "the what goes around comes around comment" was geared towards your mouthing me to a future sponsor. That to me is immature......

mr. alan burton i find it hard to believe that you would bad mouth kyle melvin.. he in fact talked me into buying one of your cars.. i chalk buying an ocm up to a $500 mistake... you mr alan burton deserve what kyle says... i am so glad that i got rid of the pos ocm product.. and you have a good day mr alan burton!!

Kyle, just have fun and race bud. That is really what it is about. I did not mouth you, that company rep for some reason called our office and asked about you. He heard some other things, and even was told some good things. I simply told him I felt you were not a consistent racer. I actually didnt go into much detail. Just told him of my experience with you.

Bottom line is this...we have mutual friends. We are sure to run into each other in the future at races. I race all over the country alll through the year. Lets remain on good terms and just say that it just did not work out.

Lets really not get into this online war. After all it has been several months since I have heard from you. How is the new house? The wife? Racing? tell me those things...lol.
