Jon-O'Donnell racers
Jon, any other O'Donnell racers, what are you guys doing in Nov?
check out the link thats attached, this race is coming up in a few months, its usually pretty turn out, if I remember right last year they had over 350 entrants
Jon, Brandon noticed alittle front end push power on/off, so we went to 7/5/2 diff oils, before it was 5/5/2, and no more push, now were going through buggy, and noticed the chassis is bowed, you think thats where we got the push from? if so, I'm replacing the chassis, how will the buggy react now? or is that something I gotta just take to the track and see?

front track being larger then the rear one, gives a little push...
should give less too
if you use harder oils and white springs at the rear
should give less too
if you use harder oils and white springs at the rear

If you bent the rear of the chassis UP, and you replace it, you'll notice right away that it pivots better and tracks better than before. My first giveaway when I bent the chassis was torque-steer. She'd just fly to the right when I nailed the throttle.
I have taken a liking to 4/4/2.5 (mixed my own fluid). ..but driving style, track surface and tire choice will change things....
My only advice to you is to get the chassis straight (or get another), make a brace like the one I made a few pages back using the rod ends and Z01T brace, and then keep the diffs how you like them, then make only tire changes. Your son will then learn exactly how the buggy will react with that setup. He'll get faster and faster, but he'll also notice ANY change MUCH quicker.
...and I'd also build those rear shocks with 100% rebound and add the aluminum caps. It just makes the car feel much better - to me anyway.

Steering knuckles?
Does anybody know where I can get some steering knuckles at a reasonable shipping price? I usually get my stuff from Amain, there not even listing them, tower has them but to get them as spares for this weekends race I'll end up paying the same price for the part for shipping, I guess I got to do a better job and order parts 2 weeks in advance and in larger quanities
