Anyone know what other springs (for other kits) will fit the TR? I've heard that the mbx5t springs will fit - any others?

What would be a direct fit for the following items.

1 Fuel Tank (Larger capacity)
2 Motor Mound

And what do you guys think of the progresive springs, something easy on the ruff stuff, but dont bottom out on the big jumps.

Thanks

except from his post, it looks like he would like to support his LHS, not an online shop, I could be wrong, but thats the impression I got from his post, Im sure the guy isn't stupid and knows he could get parts online if he wanted to, but some people like to help keep their local shops open, rather then help keep someone elses local shop open,

Default CEN Martix TR Arena RTR and Matrix C1 ARR

I am seriously considering the CEN Martix TR Arena RTR and Matrix C1 ARR.
So far I really like what I have seen and read about TR Arena and I do not currently have a Truggy.
As for the C1; I do currently have an MBX5 Prospec buggy, but might switch just to keep it all in the family.
Anyway; my question pertains to the engine mounts, particularly on the C1 ARR.
Are they the same as the engine mounts on the C1 RTR? Or are they the same as on the C1 Pro?
The reason I ask this is that I like using a roto start.
So, I would assume an engine with a roto start backplate would mount right up on the C1 RTR and TR Arena RTR; since they both include a pull start engine.
However, with C1 ARR, I am not sure what the included motor mounts are like.
Also, is there a roto start backplate available for the CEN engine that is included with the TR Arena?
My LHS says there is; but I haven't been able to find it on the internet.
Thanks in advance for the help and for providing this is a very informative thread.

Talking

Hey guys, been racing my Arena since it was released in Janurary. I got the cross pins and blue clutch shoes from Gene a while back. Haven't done much upgrades, but so far the truck is awesome. I've read what u guys have posted and they are pretty good ideas. I do have a question though, what's the benefit of switching to 17mm hubs beside having a more options for different wheels?
I sat down today and did the mod by grinding down the upper arm at a 45 degree angle, putting the nut at the bottom, using the outer hole on the ackerman and putting the pin in the lower hole on the tower. I also grind the part of the arm the caster block was touching I can see that I got more downtravel and more steering.
I got the RTR version and all i've changed was the rear toe block and the upper bell crank. This truggy is sweeet. All of the guys at my local track are now intrested in getting one. Here are some pics of the beast.....or beauty.........you decide!

What exactly are the part numbers you recommend?

There are many...

Front Upper Suspension Plate - MXS28
Front Lower Suspension Plate - MXS29
Rear Suspension Mount (Front) - MXS30
Rear Suspension Plate T2S2 - MXS22
Rear Suspension Plate T2S3 - MXS23
Rear Suspension Plate T3S1 - MXS31
Rear Suspension Plate T3S2 - MXS032
Rear Suspension Plate T3S3 - MXS33

Thanks.

Default Complete Lunsford Kit for Matrix TR

Here is the complete set-up with part #'s

Front Upper
Xray #353170
Xray #352150 x 2
Lunsford #1580 x 2

Front Steering
Lunsford #1480 x 2

Servo Arm
Xray #352460 ( Optional )
Xray #352670 ( Optional )
Lunsford #1064

Rear
Xray #353170
Xray #352150 x 2
Lunsford #1589 x 2

I've been using the Xray ends on the servo arm, because the stock setup binds bad.

This is a weight shaving an more bullet proof setup than the stock if you ask me.

Lunsford = A lightweight lifetime guarantee

*** This is not a must have for the Matrix TR. This is my personal choice***
