Well I've been toying with the idea of getting a losi. Then toying with the idea of just getting out of 1/8 scale. I think I'll just keep racing the mugen until next year and get an ae car. If it's anything like the gt2 it's going to be an awesome car on the track for all racers!!

If it is, that's a very good price for a brand new car.
Yes its going to be relesed but it will be a Race Roller...Not a kit. The only thing that will not come assembled is the Radio tray I believe. The body will be clear as well.

Yes that price is correct. Tower and several others have it listed at 549.00 I think as a pre order. I would guess that by Christmas it will be easy to get it for less than 500.00. It also comes with Ti turnbuckles all around!

Sgrid is about the only place they are updating much info. Live RC should have coverage once the race starts on Friday. They only got 1 round of practice in today and it rained....hard! They are scheduled to start practice tomorrow if able at 7.30AM but the forcast is pretty much 100% chance of thunderstorms all day tomorrow. The forecast for Friday-Sunday looks good though!

272 entries total to btw.

Will do. I said I would never subscribe to it either but to be honest...If your into offroad and or Nitro the conference part of it is well worth the 25.00!! Lots of good info on there from pretty much every Nitro, car, electronic manufacture.

Just an update. It pretty much rained all night but was clear this morning. The track crew is doing a great job of keeping the track covered but it came another down pour about an hour ago and is supposed to rain most of the day. They went ahead and called off all practice for today to let the racers at least have a chance to go and do something other than sit and watch it rain. I have not heard if they are going to go straight into Quals tomorrow as scheduled or not. Weather for the rest of the weekend looks good.

Coming from AE I thought the RC8 would have a shock setup similar to the RC10B4,T4, and the TTR S3.

The rain finally stopped today and the track was rebuilt. By about 4:00 they were able to allow some local racers that are not entered in the nats to get on the track to work it in a little and then they ran one round of contolled practice. They are now about 3/4th's of the way through the first round of qualifying and Ryan Maifield is the current TQ! It looks like they will only run the one round tonight and start qualifying back up in the morning.

Ryan Maifield holds on to TQ for first round. Ryan C is also in the Top 10 with an RC8!
