Fiberglass discs are easy to keep like new. When they glaze over, just take some 600 grit wet dry sand paper, spray some motor spray on it, and rub away until the paper is dry. This gets rid of any glazing but doesn't take off much material. You will want to double check your pad setting just in case though. I needed to tighten up just a touch once after 5 or 6 times.

Pictured is a Craftsman generic puller. It works fine for me. There are also 1 or 2 other RC companies that make/sell specific pullers for flywheels. I know you can see them on A-Mainhobbies.

Will the extra 2mm on the hex bolts for the wheels make that much difference in the handeling of the car? I m sure its been covered on here but dont have time to search it......thanks

Are you referring to the extended hexes? It will make a difference but ends up coming down to how you prefer the buggy to handle. Some people use them and some don't. If you're interested, try them and report back. From what I've heard it takes away some steering and edginess, making for more stability on rough tracks.

I use the mugen 2mm wheel hex's. I calms the car down when the traction is low. When its sticky though, and the car is tight, ill switch back to the stock losi hex's to get the steering back.
