Notice the the "TOP" of the piston is FLAT. You need to install these pistons with the flat side UP where the valve goes for it to work properly. The recessed side goes DOWN and the washer site inside the recess.

I'm curious as well. I have a set that I would like to try in my T3.

Soo what’s the consensus? I purchased a set (6x1.3) a few weeks ago and have yet to install them.. are they worth it? I am happy how my MBX8 handles now.. nervous to change it

Try it out. I like it. But I change depending on the track.
But I use them mainly for low bumpy blown out tracks and just regular pistons on smooth grooved ones

Same for me. I feel that they can make the car a bit nervous on high grip tracks. But I haven't tested them extensivly on high grip tracks either. I do 2 runs on them and then always switch back to my flat piston setup.
But on low grip, they seem to be good.

do you run them with emulsion caps or bladders? Or both?

I run the bladder setup. I haven't tested emulsion on the mbx8.
Drake tested emulsion and said it isn't very consistent. The shock behind the exhaust starts to lock up from the heat after 20 minutes.

You know, I have not tried these with bladders. I have always ran the Bypass pistons with emulsion. Will try it for this weekend.

I was talking about bladder/emulsion in general. It doesn't depend on the piston type.
If you like emulsion, you can keep using it with MIP pistons.

I really like them. They settled the car down on bumpy/blown out tracks. I run the 6 hole pistons in my B3.1

so consensus is they're better geared for outdoor, bumpy, loamy tracks.

Makes sense since most of the promo material(vids) show Drake on a rather bumpy blown out track.

Yes. And small, tight tracks where you need faster weight transfer.
