did he use 4 shims between the bearings and 2 spring clips on outside of pinion?

What is the white paste he used? White lithium grease?

Looks like 3 behind the large bearing and 1 behind the c clip. I'm going to play around with this tonight.

hi all!! I am the author of this video, I use 4 15x21x0.1 shims behind the large bearing and one original shim behind C clips!! I do this on E817 after a lot of problem with shims and now after 8 month it seems very very good.

The question is where can we find the 15x21x0.3 shims in the USA. I found some in China

Also hear in italy it's very difficult to find
I take it in UK from ebay. If you click the video link you will find an ebay link in the description.
