Is this comment based on your own measurement? I've weighed both Mp9e TKI4 and Evo and I've found there's actually more weight bias toward the rear in the EVO with a 540gm battery. I do however agree it turns better which I think is a mix of better weight distribution (moving the weight closer to the roll centre), harder front springs and that simple yet effective change to the steering plate. But even better add the Kyosho 6.8mm Ball End Offset Type -KYOIS053, I've been running them for a few months and they work very well. I also reckon the much shorter drive to the front provides a power bias toward the front which would provide more pull than push from the rear (assuming equal grip). Need to put the car on a dyno to confirm that thought....

It is not. More on balance point front vs rear. Mine with all the same electronics and battery moved the CG forward. I wish I had a 4 wheel scale system. I'm very happy with the car. It turns so much better then the TKI4. The TKI4 has been converted to nitro so I'm curious how different it will feel.

By widening the rear pivot they increased the rear roll stiffness. My guess is the lower shock mounting holes also moved out a little bit too, that would give the arm less advantage against the shock meaning the shock can be softer.
At at least that’s how I read the press release.

They use a lot of big words that amount to nothing, they did it purely for the sake of lowering the rear roll center , reducing rear camber gain and make the car “rotate” better in tight turns , nothing new mugen has had it for years now, it just makes the car feel looser on the rear end.
Exactly , just makes the rear end stiffer and more willing to rotate.

Yup the arms are shorter and the holder are wider, the car is overall stiffer and harsher on tire

The nice thing is that you can use MP9 c-d blockm rear gearbox is the same.
