We can race electric 8th scale on Saturdays, too. It'll probably be a little light of a turnout, but I'm not that worried about it.

We can always adjust things if necessarry.

I like that things are getting spread out a bit. It should make for fewer 8 hour days away from the family .

I love it, the owner of the plex is spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to give us a place to race year round and people are complaining about driving

Not really complaining just remarking. I'll still probably come up both days.

Ken has done all he said would do and more for the r/c racers in the area, that is undeniable. He took a huge risk in building the 'Plex, and now more with enclosing the outdoor track. Dedicated without any doubt, he deserves huge THANKS from us all.

Alex & Tim get props too, they have to maintain and organize the tracks and try to set the schedule so people can come race as much as possible. Multiple days of racing may not an option for some. It will take some time to get things worked out so the racedays are the best possible situation.

I look forward to the Plex 2.0 (good call Alex) and hope to see car counts grow in all forms of racing.

Racing during the fall/winter months alone will be worth it and bring in an insane amount of revenue.

It's definitely not going to be an "insane" amount of revenue.

Obviously, we wouldn't do it if we didn't think it would help business, but nobody is going to be driving a new corvette anytime soon.

With a new building comes all the new expenses that go along with it. One of the biggest is the property taxes.

Yes. YES. and more YES.

Out of all the places a business person could put money, this is not a slam dunk by any means. I am sure he wouldn't do it if he didn't have such an incredible set of employees. Just remember, every time you support the Plex you are supporting the people that work there and those that depend on them.

I love the education my boys get at the track and consider shopping there to be like donating money to a school. Its a feel good hobby all around.

No kidding. Still looking at upgrading from my 64k home to something more and the property taxes will be almost as much as the interest on the mortgage.
