Just started the build on my truck, I forgot when tekno creates in improvement for the truck, they include it with the kits.

So I'm the proud new owner of 3 extra sets of lightened outdrives for front, rear, and center diff.

What did the MT410 kit come with that other MT410 kits didn't?

The last time I owned a tekno kit, they didn't come with the lighted outdrives. It also didn't have the angled diff case. Which come stock in kits today.

I forgot when tekno develops an improvement, they put it in the kit. So this was more of me making a dumb mistake on my part.

Do you have any of those left Overkill? If not, I'll hit up the Kitten guy!

Thanks!

I’ve done quite a bit of work on this project over this past week. I changed the entire driveline over from sct410.3 to eb48.4 specs. It’s now got beefy eb48.4 universals and outdrives, eb48.4 arms/hubs/knuckles(which are much beefier than sct). I had to also swap the rear hinge pin blocks(c and d) over to eb48.4 to make it work. I went with m2c blocks and hinge pins for this. Also changed the plastic cross pins in the diffs over to the steel ones. . The eb48 arms add a decent amount of width to the truck, so I’m now able to run the shockwaves....the entire dimensions are great. I didn’t want a truggy width truck, but at the same time the tires completely clear the body....even with ballooning on 5s.
Also painted a new driver.
Also I got a 17mm to 12mm wheel adapter. So in about 5 minutes I’m able to swap to 2.2 wheels.

I will also be trying out 1/8 buggy wheels on 6s....like Overkill’s Dune buggy.
This truck is versatile!!! From buggy to monster to U4 racer within a few minutes time/and swap of hubs and wheels.

Nice looking truck. I'm almost done with mine.

What does it take to mount the F650 shell on the ET48?

Does body mounts from the MT410 mount to the towers of the ET48, or will I need to swap for MT410 towers as well?

What is the part number for the F650 shell and where did you find one ?

Everywhere I check it's either discontinued or out of stock

Proline 3193-00

I stocked up from RcMart a few years ago. It's my prefered shell for the Savage XL, very strong. Looks nice on the ET48 as well. Discontinued by now - guess it didn't sell well.

My last bash with the MT410 and no snow on the ground! It was too mulch fun... :) I hate puns, but couldn't resist.

It did sell well, just the trend dictated newer bodies.

Proline has a habit of moving on, even when sales are good, just to stay relevant and offer something new.

From the look of the towers, it looks like they are different. I don't believe the mounts would fit properly on the ET48 towers.
