Tekno MT410
The most durable 1/8 monster truck has arrived. :)
Tekno MT410 Electric 4×4 Pro Monster Truck Kit
Tekno RC is proud to announce the newest addition to our stable of innovative RC vehicles – The MT410 1/8th Electric 4×4 Pro Monster Truck Kit. The MT410 isn’t your basic, bare-bones, cheap plastic monster truck. It is based on the critically acclaimed ET48 platform that is raced at the highest levels of competition. If you are interested in upgrading or just want the best handling and most durable monster truck, the MT410 is for you. Many electronics, tires and bodies from popular monster trucks are a direct fit (see compatible bodies and wheel/tires tabs below). But why bother with a high-end MT kit? Simple, there’s always room for improvement, and in this case, the leap in performance and durability over what the market currently has to offer is astounding. We are using high-quality CNC machined parts (chassis, shock towers, shock bodies, motor mount, hinge pin braces, etc.) that you simply won’t find on basic RTR MT’s. https://image.ibb.co/iKozn5/image.png http://www.teknorc.com/wp-content/ga...img_1312pr.jpg http://www.teknorc.com/wp-content/ga...img_1314pr.jpg http://www.teknorc.com/wp-content/ga...img_1315pr.jpg http://www.teknorc.com/wp-content/ga...g_1319b_pr.jpg http://www.teknorc.com/wp-content/ga...img_1366pr.jpg |

We're calling it the MT410 but it's really 8th scale size. The classifications for monster trucks are a little loose. This truck is Revo/Maxx size, not Stampede size.

Finally a monster Truck that got the LCG low.... ahahha, searching for that since forever...
Glad TEKNO did it! So far nny Monster truck from any manufacter is like a PIG on the handling department... this seens to be the answer missing from the others... It's is very important on 6s and 8s...since byebye from "nitro" is equal to 4s... so we need something new, Like this to be hyper powerfull but capable of handling nice like a 4s/gas/nitro machine! Anyone one knows if they sell on Europe? |
oh man...
Ordered...been waiting a good long time for a killer MT.

A little tip too, use the buggy body underneath as a mud guard for the tray so you don't need to worry about it getting filled up there with grass and leaves and snow and stuff. :)

Bag J Step J-4 / page 15
Getting ahead of myself before the kit arrives...
We've reverted back to the front bumper with integrated skid. I understand that the newer chassis (SCT410.3) are countersunk on the forward most set of 4x15mm screws. Is it intended to allow the bumper skid to simply cover the front screws, or, can one use the two mounting holes in the skid to help secure the bumper? Just clarifying. Perhaps it doesn't matter much. You could drop in a few o-rings to fill the countersunk void if you decided to use the skid mounting holes. |
Pinion?
I think I'll handover a nice birthday present to my self (in 3 weeks) ;)
|
Are the shocks the same length as the ET(it appears they are)? Would ET shock towers be an upgrade(I know the body mounts wont fit)? Would an EB chassis be an upgrade?

Not really. Its not an rtr, its a kit. And built from race grade gear.
Your right! Race grade parts for sure. That's what makes this interesting. The Arrma 8 scale line up is a derivative of the Team Durango 8 scale line up. No where near the race grade mod factor this has. But they really have not needed them. Specially the V2's. Still a great addition to the MT segment. |

This may look ancient, but it's a similar setup to the Tekno-MT. It's my RC8.2e-MT conversion using RC8TE parts. I'm running a 46T Spur with a 14T pinion. 4s is plenty fast and 6s is a handful. Still a ton of fun.

You should be able to remove the original bumper and use the TBR bumper for the ET48 and then use their 1/8 wheelie bar.

I have a 8ight 3.0E that's not in use, I think it would make a great MT.... I'm gathering ideas and part info. |
Will the xr8 fit?
|
I think I'll try a 2600kv hw motor on 4s... too much?

Yes.
I would stick with 2000-2200kv for 4S. |
Are these .3 parts?
Will a Truggy sized motor fit? The hw 2250 is Truggy sized. |

Thx! I just made an order. Got the trencher tires and the 2017 raptor body.
The REVO bodies should fit. Which one did you get? |

If you look at the "MT410 Body Reference Chart," Tekno speaks to that directly. They list some bodies denoted with a "T" - "Requires truggy chassis and driveshafts (TKR5601 & TKR5676 or TKR5676A) They even list the required parts for you, how cool is that? |
