For the most powerful 6S, I like the Turnigy Graphene 5000mah 65C.

Managed to complete it pretty much today. Some minor cable cleanup etc. to do but this thing is ready to run! Took me about 15 hours total to build. Really looking forward to see it run!

I've chosen to go with the RockRages first until i've completed the fishing line mod on my Badlands. These tires look pretty beefy!

Did a little bash first run today with Rock Rages installed...these tires do not suit this Truggy thats for sure...I think they are almost too big. I'll be going with the Badlands.
Anyhow, biggest disappointment of the day was the Mamba X fan which failed after about 10 minutes. I didn't notice the fan not running immediately so I switched it off and on again...hope nothing got damaged. I already wrote Castle and ordered a replacement as well but this is LOUSY quality from the supposed leader in quality...
And man...this thing wants to point its nose to the sky...my diff oils are 35k'ish/80k/35k'ish right now

Good to see another one of these built with bashing intentions. I too run Rock Rages on mine, and absolutely love them for acrobatics. The Badlands just don't have enough rotating mass if you're looking for in air tricks, but they're great general use tires. Did my 1st real damage the other day.
Great job!

finally got the new fan in...i'll do a test run tomorrow.
Still haven't heard from Castle after their initial response. I have to say I'm pretty disappointed by their CS so far. I'll consider HW again in the future.

I wouldn't go with Hobbywing if you're looking for customer service.

My only complaint about Castle is the internal BEC and the power switch on the MM2's need to be deleted. Other than that...no issues. HW has always been rock solid for me personally. Have a ton of em and no need to correct anything. Will admit the LVC on the MAX series is kinda tricky to pin down tho with their new low/med/high settings instead of running a desired voltage. All has to be figured from the "actual" quality of your lipo's.

Castle has agreed to send me two replacement fans. The support person has mentioned that they are seeing a higher than usual failure rate of fans if the BEC is run at 7v or above and that they have sourced a new fan model that addresses that issue.
