im going off how my other hpi cars take craches. my svaage hasnt broken yet after 3 years (chassis parts i mean) and my mt2 only cracked a suspension arm in a 45 mph encounter with the curb. my rs4 has yet to tak a bad hit. hpi wouldnt make the hellfire much different.

My buddy got his today we got 3 tanks on it already. I took some pictures. Taking it to the track on Sat Will have video monday http://www.centralvalleyrcclub.com/...forum.php?id=13

Does the hellfire come with a roto start or just a pull start.I pick mine up wensday cant wait.....

Don't forget to upgrade you steering servo I stripped my $12 plastic geared steering servo in about 2 minutes without hitting a single thing

But its all good as I bought a really good one. Now this beast can fly around the track.

I have got a air-high tor-highspeed to put in it and some hpi numbs tires to go on it as well.Did the motor brake in ok.I have a rex on stand by just in case.I live in OHIO so i will be running it in doors for the winter and out doors in the summer...

Indoors for me as well. Haven't tried the stock engine. Dropped my Nova 28 in there. If you don't have the bumpbox version you will have to shim up the motor..at least I assume since the other backplates stick out.

I read on another thread that a guy from hpi said to give the stocker a try because it had a ton of bottom end and fit the truck very well.Can keep me inform on your truck and i will do the same.I have meed doing rc racesing about 18 years.THANKS......

I'll give it a try, just I don't have time to properly break it in before Sunday...and I wanted to race it!!!! So I droped in the Nova that was sitting in my LST1 that I do not use anymore.

I have read alot about the truck but dont recall seeing anything about that I would say it comes with grease or dif lube.I can let you know.....

It does come with fluid in the diffs, but it is not enough, I took out the center last night, it was less than half full......
