very nice. first generation maxx? how does the epic do? i got a sirio .18 for mine, second generation.
Well, taking into consideration that my truck weighs in at about 12 to 13 pounds, the epic engine does wonders for it as I am able to climb just about anything, and I still keep up with the guys I run with and their 2.5 engines. I did gear down to an 18t CB for the torque but that is all I have done to the gearing.

macnkitty where is a pic of your new body?
in my avatar, the pic is too big to post:mad: :flaming:
no it's not
just post one pic of it. they can't get upset of one large pic can they? email it to me [email protected] looks cool, but too small to really see it |
they say the pic wont "fit" into the post. i'll mail it to you

REVO Hop Up
ok if i buy a tmaxx for $80 with everything but the engine is that a good deal? to run i only need to screw in my engine hook up the throttle and go!
That's a real good deal. Just buy a new or used 2.5 and you're good to go. (I may sell my 2.5)
But I would go with the Sirio .18 or p2 .21 medium block. |
go with the .18 sirio man. i have one that just won me a two day race, with 5 pounds of mud on my t-maxx. its a awesome engine. i beat out some truggies on the straights, and a savage too. and are there any hop ups on the maxx? if so, its a great deal!
oh, and by the way, my avatar pic is wrong. my body is covered in 1 inch of mud, without half of the body missing. |
Yeah I have the Sirio 3.0 in my Maxx and Rustler. The Rustler is just nasty fast! :)
yup
yea i was going to put my OS .18 off my evader in the maxx and buy a onroad .15 for my evader or something with low compression.(im setting-up the evader for drag)
