terrible ted 09-26-2004 09:44 PM

i don't know if any of you guy have been to the dirt (hemet) but if you have what kind of tires do recomend for this track

macnkitty2002 09-27-2004 05:10 AM

what kind of surface is it?

terrible ted 09-27-2004 09:03 AM

thats why i'm asking because i don't know.

macnkitty2002 09-27-2004 01:23 PM

macnkitty2002, how did you mount that 1/8 scale wing on your body? that thing's SWEET!:) :D ;) :p     :sneaky:

macnkitty2002 09-27-2004 05:22 PM

please, call me mac. and about the wing. just unscrew it from the wing mount on the buggy, drill some holes large enough to fit a standard screw in(two holes obviosly) and drill two holes in you truck bed, further to the back though. then just thread the screw through the two holes and tighten down the nut. BTW- the wing actually helps to stabilize the truck in a straigh and keeps the rear end down when jumping. try it!!!

terrible ted 09-27-2004 05:31 PM

thanks. i'll definaly do it. thats one of my biggest problems at the track when the back end shoots up and makes the truck do front flips!

macnkitty2002 09-28-2004 05:08 AM

ya, hate when that happens. plus when you are going over small consecutive jumps(i call them woop di doos) it helps to keep the back end down so that it wont kick up.

terrible ted 09-29-2004 07:28 AM

Yo mac, hows that .18 working for you?
i'v been looking for a new motor for my maxx.
