What did you use to polish the chassis. Looks beautiful

At first I sanded it myself and it worked well on some most parts but not the 2 main rails so I had it chromed, quite expensive but worth the investment for sure

Sorry for the necro, but can you show more pictures of how you mounted the battery tray? Getting a more elegant solution for a Zilla IV has been a thorn in my side forever.

That's the best pic I have: it uses a raised carbon fibre plate that is attached to the skid with 20mm high threaded posts, then to secure the battery I use RC10 battery cups and a velcro strap. COG could be 10mm lower but this will do

I wouldn't mind building another Clod like I had back in the mid 90's. The one I had my ex ended up throwing it in the trash or gave it away, not sure as I never got a straight answer when I asked. I had the full JPS setup on the l Clodzilla 2 chassis and the cantilever shock setup. Was fun to drive.

IKR. I had one in the late 80's. It was my dream truck. Pretty sure it got thrown out during a basement cleanout.

Apparently ESP is making the Clodzilla 2 chassis again but the price is $400.

i thought ESP was out of business?
you might be able to catch me by the nostalgia with a Clodzilla 4 at that price, but not a 2.

I believe they did but I guess they are back for a bit w/ a limited 35th anniversary kit. Found them on Facebook and messaged them. He’s only making 10-12 kits.

Yea it was a year ago but I contacted him earlier this month and he said he’s making another run.
