Oh heck yeah. Gosh this Michigan Monsters Series looks like fun! Wish I was in the states and could take part in events like these. One day if I win the lottery you might see me entered into these events.

While replacing a couple broken control arms I figured I would freshen up the old Clod a bit...

Looking really good Grimm! The matt black looks really tuff, and the shocks look much better/realistic silver as well. Good job man. How wet can you get these trucks stock? Can you have much fun with them in the mud/rain/snow without having to waterproof the electronics?

Thanks! The motors sit low (on axle) but thats OK because I know from experience that brushed electric motors can run underwater. I do it all the time with my crawler.

The chassis on the Clod sit really high so the receiver and esc sit up out of harms way, but some snow can get packed in there if you are really spinning good in some powder.

If you stick with the stock 4ws, the servo sits down a bit in the middle of the chassis, but there are plenty of options for waterproof ones out there if you just must completely sink it in 5" or deeper water. I have never had a problem with snow or mud splashing on a non waterproof servo.

So this arrived this week. Pretty excited, and Centurion LTD is still to come...

I'm not so much into a typical race chassis mod clod, but that chassis and wheel/tire combo is absolutely stunning! Very nice, post more pics once you get it all set up to run.

Been waiting for that post. So many good looking clods there man. I follow Michigan Monsters on Facebook so knew you guys just had another round recently. Looks like so much fun! How do the TTR Rippers fare compared to the Diablos?
