ive so far had problems with shock caps coming off , shocks leaking , and front driveshaft popping off at front of the tranmission case. im running a novak rooster crawler speed control and a 55t integy.

as far as shock caps go , put the red o-ring up inside of cap, do not slide it down over shock body, the instructions arent real clear on this.i did this to mine yesterday and 3 or 4 battery packs later i havent popped a cap yet , they still seem a lil damp with shock oil but not nearly as bad as before, not sure how to keep these 100% leak free. definetly made an improvement.

as far as he driveshaft i tried a zip tie around where the 2 pieces connected, help a little but still popped, so i took the smaller shock spacer that fits the shock body and it fits the shaft perfect!!!! i put it in place and used a little medium ca glue to keep it in place . ive ran 5 or 6 packs on this mod and havent popped a shaft since .

This was the ax-10's first run, since this run, I have swaped to a e-flite 1500mah 2/3 pack on the front axle, gone to a mamba max esc, added weight to the wheels, starcut the foams, and changed radios. It is now a completley different driving machine!!

hit the rocks for the first time with mine yesterday, i was the only 2.2 crawler there but i had a blast and it did fairly well , other than some added weight it was basically box stock.
after watching what it was doing on the rocks i came up with a few ideas of what it needed so i did some research when i got home , i ended up removing the spacers from the outside of the shock and puting them inside under the piston lowereing the chassis and making it more stable. i also notched the skid plate and moved the lower links in towards the center more, im basically doing the stage 2 kit , by the end of the week i should have all my parts to complete it other than the upper link extensions and the 30 degree lower links (both on backorder), ill also have my 4 link setup and my battery plates for the front axle from the crawler store by mid week. ill be looking forward to see the improvments, next will be a set of losi rock crawler tires.

I took mine out to Mount Rainier this week, ran it through some great rocks, some snow and had a good first real run on it. This is pretty good.

Mine is setup 60/40, stock suspension, brood 35x1 motor, dual steering, stock tires/foam cut into a star..works really well, I want to make some minor suspension adjustments but I'm pretty happy with it out of the box. I am amazed at some of the stuff it can get through.

Pics attached..
