Nice looking rigs. i see the edge has really came down in price alot.I'm gonna take my ax and switch it to a tuber . I think i may go with one of the Death Metal Garage tubers. They look awesome and the craftsmanship looks flawless.

My comp crawler was performing pretty good, but after this weekend's GTG I saw some thing that might be able it help it get over the rocks easier.
I got home, began taking it apart, and cleaned it up.

The 1st thing I changed was the shock setup. I used Losi White springs in the front with 25wt shock oil and Losi Yellow springs in the rear with 45wt shock oil.

Next to go was the Hitec HS-645MG steering servo. It got the job done but demanding crawlers like myself need the best. I swapped it out with a Hitec HS-5955TG servo.

I shrunk a Spektrum receiver and called it a night.

There is still a lot of things to do. Stay tuned.

hey guys quick question. Are the only differences with the RTR and the ARTR the linkage and the slipper? Is the slipper better for competition? thanks

Do yourself a favor and get the kit. I don't think any of the aluminum goodies are included with the RTR and the links are plastic. It is really easy to build the kit as well. The instructions are great.

Default FLM SPV2 - Axial Chassis

Here is a little something I designed and licensed to FLM - it's a direct bolt up for the AX10. FLM is making them now.

Since I figured I should have a final production SPV2-81 version showing up after all the initial orders are filled, I pulled off the test chassis and dropped on a the last SPv2-81 prototype and snapped a couple more picks. Then gave it a good thrashing. Enjoy the poser pics.

I omitted side body panel for this build. For comps you don't need all the extra top body panels, just a hood, roof, and side panels, but I though it would look cool.

The paint by the way, I did just by laying door screen down, misting with black then following with red then backed in white - not a bad carbon fiber fake.
