Default Calling all Minnesotans

Does anyone know where in Minnesota there are places to race Monster Trucks? I am looking for clodbuster style truck races. If anyones interested I am looking into getting something setup for this year and I would appreciate it if anyone interested sent me a message. Thank you!!

Wow, and outdated truck. You should think about updating to and e-maxx if you like monster trucks.

Tea's Hobby Shop & Raceway Park in Rochester will be racing monster trucks this summer. Its an outside track only.

Not sure if they run clods or not.

Uh, Outdated? I am sad to say it but I would think there is more people running clods now days than racing E-Maxxs. I prefer solid axle and if no one has any racing for them I'd like to set it up.

all depends on how you look at it. The only thing the clod has going for it is the solid axle. There way to top heavy. Just my opinion.

I race e-maxxs during the summer months, then I fall back on the T3 and mini RC18T. Oval racing is the best.

entjoles thank you for that information, I'll have to stop in there and check that out!

brentmorl- I was hoping I could find more interest in this subject. I see alot of the racing out east but not much towards us. I just prefer the solid axle over independant suspension as it is about 70% driver in this type of races.

rcnate- I hear ya. Everyone has there own opinions and I am sure every class has its ups and downs, Pros and cons. I am just really into 1:1 Monster trucks and dont find anything better than going out and putting on a show similar to a real event.

Check with King Kong hobbies over in Blaine, I believe there is a monster truck club doing something indoors at a church off 169 and 610 on sunday afternoons, not sure but the info was posted at King Kong. I believe there was also a group meeting at the Mermaid bowling alley some weekends to do monster truck racing indoors, not sure their schedule at all though... I would also check with Jerry's hobbies up in Lino Lakes as he has had info on racing and crushing type monster truck events.

The church raving you are referring to might Team Extreme and they do not allow clods there.

As for the other ones, I have no idea about.

To bad they don't have a website.

I know team extreme does.

I hope you find what you are looking for man. I watched a few events years ago in Brooklyn Park in back of the old carpet track room. These things were awesome. Built to look like the real trucks and ran events just like them.

rcnate- racing your emaxx's can be fun but they are not real monster trucks.

Good call Jason. Unfortunately it looks like the events have been on hold due to lack of local interest. Contact them and help get stuff going.

I have a Team PRP Berzerker that I have never raced and would love to. Also have a Clodzilla IV and a TXT. So if you get something going LMK I would like to try it. Maybe even bring someone with as I can't drive three at a time.

This is cool! More people wanting to see the trucks get back together and have a real monster truck race! solid axle should be a requirement, There is many different bases to go off of. You could run a TXT-1, Juggernaut 1 or 2, Clodbuster, Kyosho Twin Force or something. I'd like to set it up for a weekly racing thing on Saturday or Sunday and we can race like a real monster jam event and have freestyle and everything else like that.... Does this sound interesting to anyone?
