$25 First Entry
$5 Each Additional
Novice - $10 or $5 with any paid racer.
$1 Processing fee added for Credit Cards

Yep. I pulled the info from the last pic John posted in this thread back in January. I think the Regionals will be June 15. John or Clayton can confirm. I'll throw it on the Wiki for that day.

hey guys/john i have a ?
i seen on the flyer for the roar regional race if i am correct 8th scale nitro? and if i am correct, is that the only time you will run 8th scale? or if enuff guys come out for 8th u will run it? i mean it would be nice to include 8th scale in a few more races before the event so some could get some practice.

Right now the classes are Euro Truck, F1, VTA, USGT, Touring 21.5, Touring Mod. John doesn’t run 8th scale at the track. Also there are not lights so not sure nitro would fit in the timeline. If we can get an idea on the number of 10th scale nitro sedans in the next two days we can consider running it with a 10 minute main.

Oh you guys are not running nitro sedan either? then why put these classes into the roar event ? or at least make a regional warm up race for nitro like in the middle of may would be a good idea..... thanks

Can you post a pic/screenshot of where you are seeing anything related to 1/8 Nitro at John's Mobile Raceway?

was a thing on fb someone sent a link and it was one of those that said click here if u will attend if i see it again i will, did u guys make a flyer for the roar regional race?

There is an event on Facebook, but there may actually be two events. There is definitely one for Regionals at John's in June, and there may be another one for the Super Regionals at Jackson in July. I don't know who created the FB event for John's and I can't get to it right now to check it. There is no flyer yet but John is working on getting one made.

maybe who ever made that one for johns didn't realize and put nitro 10th and 8th, sorry i thought it was like an official one for johns did not mean to stir the pot i get very excited when i see a nitro event!!! .... so there will be no nitro at that roar event?

It seems like they are considering 1/10 Nitro. John or Clayton would be best to answer.

Johns track is not big enough for 8th scale nitro. every outdoor season this question come up about 8th scale nitro and the same answer every year No Best bet would be Wagner park

sorry i dont understand that, its not big enuff? in which way do you mean that like not big enuff that we wont have fun? me and a few other ran 8th at jackson which is half the size of u guys and we had a ball!!! have a race with us 8th guys see what happens? do you guys run gt?

I talked to John and he is resolute about no 1/8th scale. We do run USGT. It’s always the biggest class. We will also be running 21.5 touring and mod touring. Radio Controlled Racers of Northern Virgina does some 1/8th scale if that’s what your heart is set on running. Otherwise feel free to join us in our numerous 1/10 scale classes against some of the best drivers in the country!
