another great day of racing in the burnie, got to see who the real men...and women were lol.props to all who came out to beat the heat.cant thank john enough for keepin the program going,we are getting more and more spectators every week, the program has mad potential to grow more than ever with the new location even without a hobby shop.rcgt or "red cups good times" is pretty good maybe we could merge with the tt01s to have a decent sized class.with the 6.8 fdr we dont quite have enough speed but even with the high temps the silver cans barely touched 140 and i didnt even run a fan or heatsink so we do have some room to work.if we worked it out with the tt01s to make it even we could have 10 to 12 car heats, with all of the realistic bodys it would really draw some attention from our spectators.

Another +1 to everyone who came to play in the heat. Track temps 140+, but everyone still had a good time. See everyone in 2 weeks after nats!

Great idea on the new thread John B.........Best of luck to ya........I have always said that R/C racing could thrive in Glen Burnie if it was managed well by someone that really cared......The GB racers are fortunate to have John B and his family that is supporting him in this venture......

Just an idea but maybe set up something with a charity the same weekend as the car show and get the word out NOW and have even more people show up and race. again just an idea not trying to tell you what to do.

Also the August 20th a lot of guys are going to be at middle river again for 12th.

Heat? What heat? Y'all bought into the Global Warming mess???

Great time as always, this location is pretty good IMO... no more finding an escape route to leave, size is decent, good stuff. Fun watching some mod-rockets rip on it, Red Cup GT was fun too (but 6.8 is too slow, I didn't run a fan that day and I was coming off the track 118-130 ish... but my car is nicely built and smooth ) Got the 12th out for a few fun laps, sun tan lotion is not just for humans... tires like it too. So yeah, all thumbs up, glad we have this place to go run at.

I have a xxx-s with a graphite chassis and some old electronics if anybody is interested. It would be good to run spec class. I can bring it with me next race day.

That's exactly what I'm running for my spec car. Single belt! And built like a tank, plus the chassis does not tweek, I love it. Don't sleep on the triple excess Older designs are fine for the class .

But if you don't sell it, we could always use another driver up there.

May not be out for the next few weekends. Have some family commitments. Probably will stop by though.

If anyone knows anyone that is looking for a Senior Spec car, let me know.
I have a nice car, almost rtr (chassis, body, tires (plus extras), esc, motor, servo, spare parts).
