Default Proud new owner of Two Mini-Zs

I just won the auction on e-bay for two Mini-z, with Nimh batteries and aluminum carrying case. I plan to use them with my youth group. So it is like having a racing party in a box.

I would like to be able to trade hop-up and tuning tips with other mini-z racers.

The best prices that I have found for hop-ups for them are at www.integy.com

If there are hop ups that I want from Integy, then I order them through Steve Wang at www.speedtechrc.com he gives a price break.

I will post photos of them after I get them.

I have a couple of students that are excited about track building and racing. Maybe a couple of them will want to buy their own.

Drop a brushless motor in a TC and let's see how fast that goes.

Maybe not quite that much, but still fairly expensive I would imagine.

For a modeltech system it's nearly there.

245.00 GBP United Kingdom Pounds = 347.814 USD United States Dollars (not including shipping)

Your right it may not be exactly $400 but it's pretty darn close.

Yep, that is more expensive than I thought. Once More companies start to make them though, the price will come down dramatically. Novak was saying about a 200 dollar ESP.

In the micros, I assume you still need a new ESC to run brushless? How much?

Default Check this Mini Z Race Track Site!

I find this in one of TZERs posts. I went there and thought that it was cool.

www.sc-speedracer.com

Also to some of you who live in Canada or Overseas, what do you know about Dinball Mini X 1/24 scale AWD car.

Anyone have a 1/24 scale Kawada Trip Mate?

Default Another Mini site, track and parts

http://microrcracing.tripod.com/

This one also includes information and sells:

Mini-X 4WD
ABC DTM 1/24 (Which is supposed to be incredibly fast)
Mauri Tokyo (Supposed to be similar to Kyosho in performance, but cheaper)

i'm with speedo. i really get into setups and tech stuff, so making everything smaller just makes it tougher for me. i do appreciate nice cars of any size, but i'll only spend my money on one at a time.

Default Microracing-- You might want to sell some of your Minis here!

I didn't even know that you could get into mini racing with radio for 89.00, until I saw it on your site today. That is cool. Even if all you did was put a link in your post to your site so people can see them, it would be worth it.

There might be people from all over the US that would be interested.

I look forward to going over and racing with ya.

So how do you time the races there? I ran a RC club in Merced and we didn't have transponders, and I really don't that there are transponders made for minis, so how do you do it?

I have some timing CD's that have all the tones and count the time. Very cool, and I could make you a copy if that would help.

Two Kyosho Mini-Z R/C racers (Black Subaru WRX and Red Nissan Skyline) with original boxes, custom carry case, 8 excellent NIMh Batteries(the good ones), charger, spare gears, spare tires, etc.. This has everything you need for you and a friend to start having fun! Although used, they function perfectly, and still look very nice. I am an expert slot car builder, and have polished the working parts, and have set up the front suspension and rear differential for proper damping/limited-slip function. If you intend to full-out race these, you will probably want to add the rear damper, and a hotter motor, Otherwise, the work is all done for you. They're quite fast as they are. If you are just going to be a casual user, don't worry, these are not excessively modified and definitely not "worn out"- they are smooth, tight, and sweet. I'm sure you will like them.

Those are the ones that I recently bought. Here is the photo. They weren't as cheaply priced as those Marui Tokyo cars. It seems like it is almost cheaper to get get a Marui ready set and a Mini x car (giving you two cars).
