Looks like we'll have 3 quite differently sized trucks.

If that's true the SC18 is too small IMO. The Vendetta Rally is nearly as big with a wheelbase of 160mm and a width of 147mm.

But I agree it's stupid that these manufacturers copy so much from each other yet they can't get the sizes of their cars and trucks the same. In that case I say first come first serve should be how the rules are defined.

Why does there need to be a standard? The SC18 is 18th scale and the Mini Slash is 16th.

Yes, but I think we are more concerned with the Detta SC and the RC18SC. The slash is its own thing, and makes no bones about it.

There should be a standard size so they can all race in the same class. For bashing size is just personal preference.

Size is very easy to understand...

The Mini-Slash is 1/16 scale...
The Vendetta SC is 1/16 scale...

The SC18 is 1/18 scale...that's why it is smaller than the two 1/16 scale trucks listed above. What's so hard about understanding this?
