Sure you can run rears on the front but it seems to like to trip over them and roll depending on the traction.
I'm currently running fronts on the rear.

Its all about the rear pod...
used shocks from an X type MRS4 front end ( the x thing was crap) but the shocks were good.
EXO3 asks you to use 2 stock rear shocks with front suspension springs but I think this is better.
handles very different from an M18 likes to be power on thru corners and this causes all kinds of mayhem when running M18's and exo3's on the same track as they typically use 2 totally different lines that always seem to intersect at some point LOLOL

We were gonna go to the East coast challenge but its about a 9 hour drive for us and we decided to spend the $$$ on 1/12 scale cars BUT after getting one to test ,turns out our track really is a bit too small... It was ok for one but would be mayhem with 4 or 5 at a time..
Soooo were looking into BRP sc18's as a backup as its getting pretty hard to come up with parts for the MRS4's... We DO have lots of spares still but the stash is steadily dwindling.
The BRP cars look pretty good and the $$$ is good too

Anyone giving their MRS4s any love? I ran mine again today, with the old Orion Elite Mod motor and an 11t steel pinion - acceleration is smoothed out and top speed is solid. Afterward, I went over everything with a moist paper towel and Q-Tips. Pic related - it's my original car and body I received from Christmas 2002.

Also, ordered an HS-82MG for this runner. Should be here by Friday. There's an HS-81MG in my Penguin/Mamba car, but just a cheap standard servo in here right now.

Looking good. It's easy to forget how small those cars were!

Good to see people still running these. I ran mine last week for the first time in about a year and was surprised the battery pack did as well as it did. Here is mine.

What are we MRS4 people supposed to do about tires since HPI discontinued parts support around 2009? I have a bunch of wheels, but no tires. Also, HPI and Pro-Line discontinued their 1/18 micro body product line, so it seems we're out of luck on that front as well. Where would I go if I wanted a new set of tires, or a new shell?

Dramatic emoticon to convey my sentiment on the matter:

Does a 380 size brushless motor fit in the stock motor plate in an RS4 Micro?

Thanks
