Date- 15FEB

Location- MD, USA

Race Time- 269.791s

Fastest Lap- 3.331s

Chassis- GLR- GT

Body- Jomurema with lexan roof

Wheelbase- 98mm

Tires- Marka v1 r5, Marka v6 r25

Front Springs- reflex racing side damper springs. Silver

T-Plate- N/A

Dampener (If applicable)- Reflex

Dampener Fluid (If applicable)- 15-25k all around. Unfortunately I did not write it down and I added this back in November/December

Gearing- 14/53

Notes: I initially could not get the feel for this car because it seemed too unstable and aggressive compared to my stock PNR 2.5 chassis. I wrecked a whole lot and initially had to go to a loose ball diff to keep prevent oversteer despite having Marka 5's on the rear. I actually Ironed it all out in my transmitter settings. I am using -40% expo for steering and -50% for throttle. In addition I have my throttle rate set to 53% and the channel speed for throttle is set to a 0.2s buffer (if my finger could instantly apply full throttle, the transmitter would ramp it up over 0.2 seconds). This last bit helped eliminate oversteer and enabled me to return to using the PN gear diff without concern of oversteer.

I do not change much with my stock car because it is so stable and reliably good performing. I geared up in an attempt to get my total time under 270s but gave up after realizing that I would have to be machine-like in my consistency to accomplish this with my stock car. That or

hunt for more speed somewhere.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

We had several new racers, with 9 total posting this month in 6 classes. There was some really close racing, with a difference between 1st and 2nd place in Stock and Open 2WD of only 0.1 seconds! Where are all the other guys that have a Mini-96 and are turning laps? You'll get faster if you start posting. I know I did! But if you are not convinced, check out the improvement between January and February for a couple of the new guys like TAMAK, PoorBoy and DoubleDarth.

I got the track out last night, but runs were not worth reporting :P Too long a break I guess. New layout looks fun!

Did I also see that there is going to be a dnano class? I'll have to setup laptrax or something else as the trackmate transponders are too big for dnano.

If you set up the new layout now, you’ll have better results by month end. Just say’n.

No dnano class, but a couple of guys were talking about running them unofficially.

Having a good time with the new layout. Fast and fun.

I highly recommend taking a few of the wall fasteners out to help soften the hits (hopefully this is not braking the rules). Broke the from clip on my GLA a few laps in.

So I see I'm not the only person having a hard time with no barriers.
