Notes - I actually spent a long time on this car for some reason, just wanted to get more speed out of it but might need to order another stock motor or two. Got it to handle pretty well, was really struggling with lazy turn in and getting it to go around the roundabout with any consistency was a challenge. Might swap this for another car and try to run a Evo Chassis/4100 green motor next month.

Mini96 December Results



December was a busy month! So much going on so it was hard to find time to run. But towards the end of the month I put in a charge. Both cars had pretty good pace. Seems like I can go faster on CCW layouts. Box stock time improved by 4 secs over Nov. I had a wicked pace in Open but could not put it together for a good overall. Cars felt pretty good just need to focus better. The laps were so fast. For a bit I was struggling to get into the 2.9s in BS because I’m running some old batteries and motor. So I went from KSK40s to KSM 542s and was able to get a few 2.9s. In a few weeks I’ll be down in SoCal and I’ll get some fresh batteries and rubber. This was my first full month with the DAS wheel. It is good just need to keep getting used to how it feels. Love how this group pushes each other. Not sure if I’m making the podium this month. Just makes me wanna work harder!

Well Yall, another year has come to an end, and we had a good showing for this time of year! Welcome Jdunfee424 and the rest of yall who got tracks and are soon to join us! We had some close racing in all classes but BoxStock was very tight with the top 5 places having less than 8 seconds between them.

Congrats to Traveler2 for the fastest overall time of 3:35.311, and I had the fastest lap of 2.775 (lucky, even the sun shines, lap that I couldn't match even with my open car).

I hope we have a even stronger year, as quite a few people got tracks the last few months, so post those times, even if they aren't podium places, as it's great to keep track of your progress, and when we run the same track at a later date, you can really see your improvement!!!
