Damn 347 jim I guess I got some work to do. The 358 I have posted was with a 76 lap run witch is because 1 of my laps didnt contend i just kept going cause it was still a hood time so that 358 would have been a 353 witch dosnt put me so far off u.

emu how u figured u have it also if u do add me my sn is the same on there as it is here on tech just send me a message lol

as far as gaming, I currently only play Destiny on PC when I have the time. I retired my xbox a few years ago. Planning to get back into some racing sims when I can set up the wheel again. Gaming has typically been a way for me to keep reflexes high for racing, so I would play CoD, and then hopped on Destiny when it released. I've always been a one or two game kind of player.

Bring it....

Only kidding but having close competition is what makes this fun in my eyes. I love the fact that the three of us are all within striking distance to the top step of the podium. Now we just have to get moor peeps involved and up to speed.

Cheers,
Jim

well gears 5 is cross play compatible between console and pc. And if u have the game pass from xbox u get a shit ton more games with live account. Never been a destiny player felt like a rebadged halo game and didnt like it so much

Second run in with not even touching my stuff in a few days and just put myself within spitting distance of jim. Just like him I fell apart at the end and started watching the time everytime I crossed pass my phone. 2 seconds off of jim now. Sorry but the gla just got put on the back burner for another day or 2 lol

(Edit) just set the best yet I'll take that top spot if u dont mind lmao. Crushed it by 10 seconds

switching from the 5250kv to the 3500kv and only putting it at 87.5 power mad the car so much more drivable corner entry to exit. I dont understand how u drive ur comp car at the gearing u have . I had mine set to 4.33 and I couldnt hang on put it back to a 5.2 and the car was on rails witch is a 52x10 64p gears. I applaud u for those reflexes at that speed. Ganna make another run tonight with the 4wd at full power and see what it does

Scionara05 09-14-2019 05:03 PM

Both stock and awd times updated. This gla is on rails right now. Next go I'm throwing more gear at it

LJH 09-15-2019 07:27 AM

I laid down a really good Open 2WD stint....

For the first time I really spent some time last night playing with some adjustments on the GLR. First off I lowered the ride height 1-1.5mm as am still getting some traction rolls at times. This helped a lot, I then just started experimenting with taking a turn on and off the rear shocks. It is interesting, I tightened the center shock a turn which took out most of the droop and it made the car more prone to TR'ing but if I could keep it shiny side up it was fast, I did a undocumented 3.86s lap. With all that playing last night I just could not link together a decent 75 laps and ended up always being a couple 100th off of Scionara's time. This morning I a pack and on the second try came up with a 322.1s stint and a 3.92s fast lap. The stint was very clean and I only had three 5s+ laps, the car felt awesome and I was feeling pretty good as well.

Cheers,
Jim

Scionara,
Just saw your update.....nice run, we are definitely duking it out. I thought I had you on Fastest Lap time, I need to make one 3.86s during an actual counted stint.....I did not even grab a screen shot of it ;-).

On the gearing I am running the shortest I can I believe, at least with the spur that comes with the kit. I believe the stock spur is 52T and I am running the 9T pinion giving me a 5.77 FDR. I will say I should dial pack the power as I am not even close to using all of it.

Cheers,
Jim

I'm ganna try and get another go tonight if my controller dosnt call me.
4wd vs 2wd is never a fair fight because I have the car so easy to drive and i have a rule easy is not fast on the edge is fast. At least in 10th scale it was for me.
but we shall see I can link 3.89 and 3.99 seconds laps back to back with that car. Hopefully the more gear will give me that extra punch I'm looking for on the short shoots

EMU 09-15-2019 03:54 PM

I always end up with the best results when I have a car that is easy to drive. A car that is under steering or oversteering is not easy to drive. If the car is easy to drive, I feel like I can hit the same line repeatedly, which might be slightly slower on the fast lap but will allow me to push the car more and make better time over the course of the run. One error can remove any advantage that a faster but more edgy car has over one which is relatively neutral...

Scionara05 09-15-2019 05:45 PM

Well I was able to get both some xbox time and 4wd time to take back the top step for now. Jim granted that u have 2wd and 4wd as 2 separate classes this is becoming quite the grudge match and wats funnier is that it's your old car at that lmao

This is good stuff. I keep thinking that I can’t go any faster and then I do but the gains are getting smaller and smaller. I will say that my GLR is feeling really good right now. I do wonder how much I am giving up running a hard body? May have to try a lexan body at some point.

Cheers,
Jim
